Ages: Adults and Kids 6 and Up
Duration: Over One Hour

TOOLS and TEMPLATES
    WHAT YOU NEED

  • 3 or more 48.7 oz NESQUIK® canister lids
  • 6 sheets of different colored copy paper – 2 of each color
  • 2 empty paper towel rolls
  • 3 colors of narrow ribbon
  • Craft glue stick
  • Safety scissors
  • 1 sheet of foam core
  • Cellophane tape
  • Utility knife

    HOW TO DO IT

  • Cut a piece of foam core to measure 16 ½” by 20”.
  • Print out the numbered circle templates onto the 3 different colors of paper.
  • Use safety scissors to cut the paper towel rolls into 4” high pieces.
  • Trim each of the remaining pieces of colored copy paper to 4” by 4” and wrap around each empty paper towel tube. Secure with cellophane tape or glue.
  • Cut 3 pieces of ribbon into 8” lengths and spiral them around each tube. Secure with cellophane tape or glue.
  • Cut out each numbered circle and position it onto the foam core. Secure with a glue stick.
  • Use cellophane tape or glue to secure each covered tube to the center of each circle.
  • (PARENTS ONLY) Cut out the center portion of the NESQUIK lids with a utility knife, leaving a 4” wide ring. These are the rings for the Ring Toss Game.

    HOW TO PLAY

  • Place the ring toss base on a flat surface where there is enough room for the children to step away from the base and toss their rings.
  • Mark a line that the children must stay behind when tossing their rings. This can be adjusted for younger and older children.
  • Assign an adult or older child to keep score.
  • Each player stands behind the marked line and tosses 3 rings, trying to get them over the tubes.
  • The player with the highest score is the winner.

    TIPS

  • While you can play the game with three rings, you can add rings to the game by saving the lid each time your family finishes a canister of NESQUIK.
