The kids will be "all shook up" when they play this fun guessing game that helps them recognize the sound of familiar objects.

Play the Sound Test Game
Ages: Adults and Kids 6 and Up
Duration: Under One Hour

    WHAT YOU NEED

    Here are some suggestions, but you can use other familiar objects you have around the house.
  • About 1 cup uncooked rice
  • A handful of pebbles or small rocks
  • About 1 cup sugar or salt
  • A few small jingle bells
  • Pennies or other coins
  • Several plastic containers with lids. Empty 10.9 oz NESTLÉ® NESQUIK® canisters work well.

    HOW TO DO IT

  • Put one of the selected objects into each of the empty canisters.
  • Have your child shake each canister, listening to the different sounds heard.
  • See if your child can guess what object is in each canister.

    TIPS

  • Giving clues might be helpful for younger children.
