WHAT YOU NEED
1 - 16 oz bottle of NESTLÉ
®
NESQUIK Vanilla Ready-to-Drink
1 - 3” Styrofoam ball
1 - hole punch
Black and white acrylic paint
1 sheet each of black, red and white craft foam
Black elastic, 1/8“ wide
Velcro
®
self-adhesive dots
HOW TO DO IT
(PARENTS ONLY) Use a utility knife to make a small tear in the NESQUIK label. Your child should now be able to remove the label by pulling it off at the tear.
Place the NESQUIK bottle in the refrigerator while you make the drinkable Dracula.
Print out the templates.
Cut out cape from black craft foam. Punch the holes in the cape where indicated on template.
(PARENTS ONLY) With a utility knife, score the collar of the cape where indicated on template.
Fold the collar back and hold in place with a craft glue gun.
Cut a piece of black elastic to measure 8” long.
Wrap the cape around the NESQUIK bottle. Thread the elastic through holes in the cape and tie into a bow to hold the cape in place.
Cut out collar from white craft foam and bow tie from red craft foam.
Use a craft glue gun to glue the bow tie to the center of the collar.
Place the self-adhesive Velcro dots on the ends of the collar and wrap around the neck of the bottle.
Paint the hair and face of Dracula on the Styrofoam ball (use the photographed image as an example).
(PARENTS ONLY) Cut a 1 1/2”wide x 1 1/2” deep circle in the bottom of the ball, so that it fits snugly around the NESQUIK cap.
Dracula is now ready to drink!
TIPS
After your child has enjoyed drinking NESQUIK from drinkable Dracula, you can wash the bottle and keep Dracula as a Halloween decoration.
FOLLOW-UP FUN
You can make other fun characters from NESQUIK Ready-to-Drink bottles. Your children can use their imaginations or you can suggest making a reindeer or penguin (see Arctic Pals.)
